TRACEY POWELL
A Lifelong Hoosier Fighting for Our Communities

Meet Tracey

Tracey Powell is a chiropractor, farmer, small business owner,
and lifelong Hoosier who has dedicated his life to service.
Since 2020, he has served as a Tipton County Commissioner, working to strengthen the local economy, invest in infrastructure, and support rural families.
Tracey has also been an active member of the Indiana County Commissioners Association for three years. He served as Vice Chair of his region during his first year, Chair in his second, and was elected to the executive board as treasurer in his third. Through this work, Tracey represented counties at the Indiana Statehouse during legislative sessions, gaining firsthand experience with how state policies directly affect local governments. This background gives him a unique perspective, and as State Senator he will bridge the gap between state and local government to ensure communities have a stronger voice.

In addition, Tracey serves as Vice President of the North Central Indiana Regional Planning Council, where he has championed regional development projects that deliver real results for Hoosiers. His years of leadership at both
the county and regional levels mean he understands how government works and how
to get things done.
As a husband, father, and community leader, Tracey knows what matters most to Indiana families. He believes in strong schools, affordable health care, thriving local businesses, and the freedom to live life without unnecessary government overreach.

Tracey is running for Indiana State Senate District 21 to give our communities the representation they deserve and to ensure state policies reflect the values and priorities of Hoosiers.

ON THE ISSUES
Tracey Powell is committed to building a stronger, more prosperous Indiana by focusing on the issues that matter most:

CUTTING TAXES & SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESSES
As a chiropractor and small business owner, Tracey knows firsthand how heavy taxes and needless regulations hold back growth. He believes Hoosiers should keep more of their hard-earned money and businesses should be free to grow without government standing in the way. Tracey will fight for a tax structure that allows families and businesses to thrive.

STRONG SCHOOLS FOR STRONG COMMUNITIES
Every child deserves access to a quality education. Tracey will work to ensure schools are adequately funded and that teachers have the tools they need to succeed. Investing in education today means stronger families, stronger communities, and a brighter future for Indiana tomorrow.

AFFORDABLE, ACCESSIBLE
HEALTH CARE
As a health care professional, Tracey has seen patients leave Indiana to seek treatment in other states where pricing is better. This is bad for Hoosiers, bad for businesses, and bad for our state’s economy. The problem is not quality of care, it is skyrocketing costs caused by excessive regulations and government interference. Tracey will work to cut unnecessary regulations that drive prices up, making health care more affordable and accessible while keeping patients here at home.
